Custom Work

We welcome custom commissions across hats, garments, and full outfits. Each piece can be adapted in silhouette, materials, colour, and detailing, depending on availability and feasibility within our atelier practice.

Our work extends beyond millinery into sewing, garment construction, and complete looks. This includes stage outfits for musicians and performers, costumes for music videos, fashion editorials, and pieces developed for creative direction, performance, or visual storytelling.

Each commission is a collaborative process. It begins with a conversation — about shape, function, atmosphere, or reference — and evolves into a tailored piece made specifically for its context, whether for stage, camera, or everyday wear.

To request a custom piece or project collaboration, please contact us with your ideas. We will get back to you to discuss possibilities, timeline, and pricing.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find my hat size?

Finding the right hat size is essential for both comfort and fit. A well-fitted hat should sit securely on the head without feeling tight, allowing for natural movement and all-day wear.

To measure your head, use a soft measuring tape and place it around the widest part of your head — typically about 1 cm above the ears and eyebrows, and around the back of the head where it naturally protrudes. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight. The goal is to measure your actual head circumference, not to compress it.

Our hats are sized in centimeters (for example 57 cm, 58 cm, 59 cm), which corresponds directly to your head measurement. If you fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size for comfort, especially for felt hats which should sit lightly rather than tightly on the head.

A properly fitted hat should:
— Sit comfortably without pressure points
— Stay in place when moving naturally
— Allow a small amount of “breathing space” inside the sweatband

Each head is slightly different in shape, not just size. If you are unsure between sizes or have a particularly narrow or wide head shape, feel free to contact us before ordering. We are happy to help you find the most suitable fit or adjust certain models where possible.

For selected hats, we can also make small internal adjustments using cork strips inside the sweatband. This allows a size to be subtly refined without changing the structure of the hat itself.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Every hat is handcrafted in our Berlin studio using traditional millinery techniques. Each piece is shaped, finished, and detailed by hand.

Small variations or irregularities are part of the process and make each hat unique.

Can I order a custom piece?

Yes, we accept custom requests depending on availability and complexity.
You can contact us to discuss materials, colours, and shape adjustments.

How should I care for my hat?

Avoid prolonged exposure to rain and moisture.
Store your hat in a dry place, ideally in a hat box or on a shelf where it keeps its shape.

If needed, light brushing or steaming can help restore the form — but we recommend professional care for delicate pieces.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
